What is the Best Way to Prepare My Child for Exams?

“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.“

- Theodore Roosevelt

The best way to prepare for the exams is by following simple and yet practical methods:

To prepare a realistic study schedule:

• To calculate the days for the preparation divided by number of chapters. Need to allot time slot for each subject.

For Ex:

Days remaining: 14 days

Hours of study at home: 5 hours (Morning 3 hours, Evening 2 hours)

Subjects: 6 Chapters: 6 (In total 36 chapters)

Hours in total: 70

Last 2 Days – Full Revision & Practice (Total: 10 Hours)

Day 13: Revise Subjects 1, 2, 3 + Solve Mock Questions

Day 14: Revise Subjects 4, 5, 6 + Solve Full Syllabus Paper

The Pomodoro Technique:

To give the students a break after 25/5 method (25 minutes study and 5 minutes break).

• Pick a small fun game in between like bouncing the ball, Indoor basketball etc.

• Engaging the children in small activities like making salad for them or filling water bottles etc.

To keep away from technical gadgets and also social media

• To keep them away from binge watch.

• Award them with a bonus by showing a fun movie at the weekends.

• Also, we can take them to the gardens, parks or any play area at the weekends.
